Test
Commercial drivers must be qualified
and / or authorized to operate tractors pulling tanker trailers. Specifically
required for drivers of vehicles carrying liquids or liquid gases in portable
or fixed tanks. This endorsement is not required for portable tanks with
a rated capacity under 1,000 gallons.
Class A and Class B CDL drivers often require tanker endorsements for hauling water, liquid, gas, etc.
